Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore

An easy chicken cacciatore made using cream and in the slow cooker. Can also be made in a pressure cooker or on a stove top.

  • Add all ingredients except cream and xanthan gum to your slow cooker. Cook on high for 4-6 hours or low for 6-8 hours. If using a pot on the stove, simmer covered for approximately 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  • When ready, remove the chickens and cut each chicken into quarters. Season sauce with more salt and pepper if needed and add cream. Whisk until well combined.
  • Serve chicken with veg and sauce poured over.
